September 24 – Noon

Read

Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

(Mark 6:31)

Pray

Dear God,

You know the work and the demands that weigh heavy on my shoulders. You see the busyness and chaos that fills my days, leaving me little time for rest and renewal. Just as Jesus invited his disciples to come away and rest, I come to You now, seeking Your peace and rejuvenation. Help me to find moments of stillness in the midst of my hectic schedule, so that I may draw close to You and find the rest that my soul so desperately needs.

You understand the weariness in my heart and the fatigue in my body. Grant me the grace to let go of my worries and anxieties, and to trust in Your provision and care for me. May I learn to lean into Your presence and find the strength that only comes from spending time with You. Thank You for Your unfailing love and compassion towards me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
