September 14 – Evening

Dear God,

You are the only true and living God, and I come before You in awe of Your greatness and majesty. I thank You for the love and grace You have shown me, and for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. As I meditate on this verse, I am reminded that I am not of this world, just as Jesus is not of this world. I pray that as I continue to live in this world, You would protect me from the evil one and sanctify me by the truth of Your Word.

You have chosen me and called me out of the darkness into Your marvelous light, and I pray that I would remain faithful to You and Your purposes for my life. Help me to live as a light shining in the darkness, and to bring glory to Your name in all that I do. I ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,
Tu eres Santo y poderoso, y agradezco que me hayas escogido y llamado a seguirte. Te pido que me guardes y protejas en el mundo, ya que no soy del mundo, al igual que Jesús. Oro para que guardes mi fe, mi corazón, y mis pensamientos de las tentaciones y peligros que puedan alejarme de tu voluntad. Ayúdame a permanecer firme en mi fe y a llevar una vida que te refleje a ti, a pesar de las dificultades que pueda enfrentar.

Señor,
Te pido que me llenes de tu Espíritu Santo, para que pueda entender tus enseñanzas y vivir de acuerdo a tu voluntad. Que mi vida sea un testimonio de tu amor y gracia, y que pueda llevar tu luz a aquellos que están en tinieblas. Que mi amor por ti y por mi prójimo sea evidente en todo lo que hago, y que mi vida sea un reflejo del amor que Jesús tiene por la humanidad. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
