October 9 – Noon

Dear God,

You have made it clear in this verse that we cannot serve both You and money. I confess that there have been times when I have allowed the pursuit of wealth and material possessions to take priority over my relationship with You. Please forgive me for this idolatry and help me to keep my heart and mind focused on serving You above all else.

I pray for the strength and discipline to live a life that reflects Your priorities and values. May I use my resources and talents to glorify You and advance Your kingdom, rather than seeking my own selfish gain. Help me to remember that true wealth and fulfillment come from serving You wholeheartedly. Thank You for Your abundant grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,
Tu palabra dice que no se puede servir a dos señores, que no podemos amar al dinero y a ti al mismo tiempo. Reconozco que en ocasiones he puesto mi confianza en las riquezas materiales en lugar de confiar plenamente en ti. Perdóname por seguir mis propios deseos egoístas y no buscar tu voluntad en todo momento. Ayúdame a alinearme completamente contigo, a buscar tu reino y tu justicia, antes que cualquier otra cosa en mi vida.

Señor,
Tu enseñanza es clara: el amor al dinero nos puede apartar de ti. Te pido que transformes mi corazón y mis prioridades para que no caiga en la trampa de la avaricia y el afán desmedido por las riquezas. Permíteme vivir de manera fiel a tu Palabra y que mi vida sea testimonio de tu amor y fidelidad. Ayúdame a reconocer que solo en ti encontraré la verdadera satisfacción y seguridad, y que mi corazón esté completamente rendido a ti en cada aspecto de mi vida. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Ningún siervo puede servir a dos señores; porque o aborrecerá al uno y amará al otro, o estimará al uno y menospreciará al otro. No podéis servir a Dios y a las riquezas.
