October 8 – Evening

Read

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

(Isaiah 53:5)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the ultimate Healer, and I come to You with a heavy heart, seeking Your healing touch. Your word in this verse reminds me that Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and by his stripes we are healed. I ask for Your divine healing to be poured out on my body, mind, and spirit. Help me to trust in Your promise for complete restoration and to have faith that Your power can bring me back to full health.

Lord, I surrender my worries and fears to You, knowing that You are in control of every situation. Give me the strength and patience to endure this season of illness, and fill me with Your peace and presence. May Your healing balm flow through me, bringing wholeness and renewal to every part of my being. I thank You in advance for the healing that is coming my way, and I praise You for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
