October 29 – Morning

Read

To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

(Proverbs 8:13)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the epitome of wisdom and righteousness, and I humbly come before You seeking Your guidance and strength. Help me to develop a reverence for You and a hatred for all that is evil, just as this verse instructs. Grant me the discernment to recognize and reject any form of dishonesty, pride, and injustice that may try to creep into my life. I pray that You will help me to stand firm in my commitment to live a life that is pleasing to You, and that reflects Your wisdom and righteousness.

Please empower me to walk in integrity and to speak truth, even when it may be difficult. I ask that You would fill me with Your Holy Spirit and give me the wisdom to make choices that honor You. May my actions and words bring glory to Your name and be a reflection of the reverence I have for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
