October 24 – Noon

Dear God,

You have instructed us to leave the corners of our fields for the poor and the stranger, so that they may have something to eat. Help me to have a heart of compassion and generosity towards those in need around me. Open my eyes to see the opportunities to reach out and bless others, and give me the courage to act on them. May I not become selfish or indifferent, but instead be ready and willing to share what I have with those who are less fortunate.

Help me to be a vessel of Your love and provision in the lives of those who are struggling. Give me wisdom and discernment to know how best to help, and the resources to do so. Remind me that everything I have is ultimately Yours, and prompt me to use it for the benefit of others. Thank You for Your constant care and provision in my own life, and help me to extend that same care to those around me.

Señor,
Tu palabra nos recuerda en este versículo que debemos dejar restos de nuestra cosecha para los pobres y los extranjeros. Te pido que me des un corazón generoso y compasivo para ayudar a aquellos que tienen menos que yo. Que mi vida refleje tu amor y misericordia hacia los que están necesitados, y que pueda ser una bendición para ellos.

Te ruego que me des sabiduría y discernimiento para saber cómo puedo ayudar de la mejor manera a aquellos que están en necesidad. Ayúdame a ser consciente de las oportunidades que me das para compartir lo que tengo con los demás, y a no pasar por alto a aquellos que necesitan mi ayuda. Que mi corazón esté alineado con el tuyo, y que pueda ser un instrumento de tu amor en este mundo.

Y cuando segareis la mies de vuestra tierra, no segaréis hasta el rincón de ella, ni espigarás tu siega. Para el pobre y para el extranjero las dejarás. Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.
