October 22 – Evening

Read

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

(John 1:14)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the great and mighty Creator of all things, and yet, in Your infinite love, You chose to come down to this earth in the form of Jesus. You dwelt among us, showing us Your grace and truth. Thank You for Your willingness to come and be with us, to experience life as we do, and to ultimately give Your life for us. Help me to always remember Your amazing sacrifice and to live in a way that reflects Your grace and truth to others.

May I never take for granted the incredible gift of Your presence in my life. Help me to always be mindful of Your love and to walk in the light of Your truth. Thank You, God, for Your unfailing love and for making a way for us to be in relationship with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
