For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
You know that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Help me to always keep this in mind and not let the pursuit of wealth consume me. Remind me that true riches come from a heart that is content and a spirit that is focused on serving You and others. Guide me to use the resources You have blessed me with in a way that brings honor to Your name and helps those in need.
Please give me the wisdom to recognize when my desire for riches is leading me astray and the strength to resist the temptations that come with wealth. Teach me to find my satisfaction in You and Your promises, rather than in material possessions. May my heart be set on things eternal, and may my actions reflect a spirit of generosity and compassion towards those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Señor,
Tu palabra nos enseña que el amor al dinero es la raíz de todos los males. Ayúdame a no caer en la trampa de la codicia y la avaricia, y a confiar en tu provisión y cuidado constante por mí. Permíteme valorar las verdaderas riquezas del corazón y buscar siempre tu reino antes que los tesoros de este mundo.
Te pido que me des discernimiento para reconocer las tentaciones del dinero y la búsqueda desenfrenada de riquezas, y que pueda poner mi confianza en ti como mi proveedor y sustentador. Que mi corazón esté centrado en ti y en tus promesas, y no en las cosas pasajeras y vanas de este mundo.
