November 27 – Evening

Read

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

(Matthew 6:5)

Pray

Dear God,

You know my heart and my intentions when I come to You in prayer. I pray that my heart is always focused on seeking You and Your will in my life. Help me to be sincere and genuine in my prayers, not seeking to impress others, but seeking a true connection with You. I ask for Your guidance and wisdom as I navigate through the distractions and temptations that can lead me away from a genuine relationship with You. May my prayers be pleasing to You, and may they always come from a sincere and humble heart.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
