With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
You have created every human being in Your image, giving us the ability to praise You and curse our fellow man with the same tongue. Help me to use my words to build others up and show love and compassion, rather than tearing them down with hurtful words. Guide me in the way of wisdom and help me to speak words that bring peace and understanding, rather than causing division and pain.
Grant me the strength to control my tongue and use it to speak words that reflect Your love and grace. Help me to see others as Your precious creation, deserving of kindness and respect. May my words always honor You and bring glory to Your name.

Señor,
Tu palabra nos enseña que con nuestra lengua alabamos al Señor y Padre, y con ella maldecimos a los hombres, que han sido hechos a imagen de Dios. De una misma boca proceden bendición y maldición. Esto, hermanos míos, no debe ser así. Ayúdame a controlar mi lengua, para que mis palabras sean de bendición para todos los que me rodean, reconociendo que ellos también son imagen de Dios.
Señor,
Te pido que me des sabiduría y control para que mis palabras siempre edifiquen y traigan paz a mi entorno. Enséñame a ser consciente de la manera en que utilizo mi lengua y que siempre sea para glorificarte a ti y para bendición de quienes me rodean. Que mis palabras reflejen tu amor y misericordia para con los demás, en lugar de maldecir o herir con ellas. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
Con ella bendecimos al Dios y Padre, y con ella maldecimos a los hombres, que están hechos a la semejanza de Dios.
