You have taught us in this verse to not store up for ourselves treasures on earth, but rather to store up treasures in heaven. Help me to remember this truth and to live my life with an eternal perspective. Keep my focus on the things that truly matter and not on the temporary possessions of this world. Remind me to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all my needs.
You know the desires of my heart and I pray that You will help me to be content with what I have, and to be generous with the resources You have blessed me with. Let my heart be set on storing up treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Thank You for the assurance that where my treasure is, there my heart will be also. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Tu palabra nos enseña a no acumular tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla y el óxido destruyen, y donde los ladrones roban. Ayúdame a no aferrarme a las riquezas materiales y a no buscar mi seguridad en las posesiones terrenales. Permíteme tener un corazón dispuesto a compartir y a ser generoso con los demás, recordando que mi verdadera riqueza está en ti.
Te pido que me ayudes a enfocar mi mirada en las cosas del cielo, donde ningún ladron roba ni polilla ni óxido destruye. Que pueda buscar primero tu reino y tu justicia, confiando en tu provisión y cuidado para mi vida. Ayúdame a invertir mi tiempo, talentos y recursos en aquello que perdura por la eternidad.
Señor, que mi corazón no esté aferrado a las riquezas pasajeras de este mundo, sino que mi confianza y esperanza estén puestas en ti. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
