January 8 – Evening

Dear God,

You have given us the gift of free will, and with it comes the responsibility to do what is right and just. I confess that there have been times when I have fallen short, and I have failed to do good when I had the opportunity. I ask for Your forgiveness and strength to always choose what is right, and to be a light in the world, reflecting Your love and grace.

Help me to be mindful of my actions and decisions, and to always seek Your guidance in all that I do. May I be a vessel of Your love and compassion, and may my words and actions bring glory to Your name. I pray that I will live a life that is pleasing to You, and that I will always strive to do good in obedience to Your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,

Tu palabra nos recuerda que el que sabe hacer lo bueno y no lo hace, comete pecado. Reconozco que en muchas ocasiones he fallado en hacer lo bueno, en ayudar a los demás y en seguir tu voluntad. Te pido perdón por mis acciones y por mis omisiones. Ayúdame a ser más consciente de mis acciones y a vivir de acuerdo a tus enseñanzas.

Te pido que me des fuerzas y sabiduría para ser una persona de bien, que busque hacer el bien en todo momento. Que mi vida sea un reflejo de tu amor y gracia. Ayúdame a vivir de manera que siempre honre y agrade tu nombre. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Pues al que sabe hacer lo bueno, y no lo hace, le es pecado.
