September 17 – Morning

Read

Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.

(Psalm 4:4)

Pray

Dear God,

You know the troubles and concerns that weigh heavy on my heart. I come to You seeking peace and refuge in the midst of my worries. Help me to trust in Your goodness and Your love, and not to give in to fear or anxiety. I pray that You would fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guide me in the way that I should go.

You have given me the ability to rest in Your presence, and I pray that I would find comfort and solace in the truth of Your love for me. Help me to set my mind on things above, and to find strength in You alone. Thank You for Your constant provision and care, and for being my refuge in times of trouble. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
