“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

(Matthew 6:25)

Pray

Dear God,

You remind us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. You provide for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, and we are of much greater value to You. Help us to trust in Your provision and to not be consumed by anxiety or fear. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be given to us as well.

You know our needs before we even ask, and You are a faithful and loving provider. So I pray that You would calm our anxious hearts and fill us with peace and trust in Your care. Help us to focus on You and Your kingdom, and to let go of our worries and fears. Thank You for Your constant love and care for us.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
