I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Pray
You have called me to live in the freedom of Your grace, and yet so often I find myself slipping back into the bondage of legalism and self-reliance. Please forgive me for seeking approval and validation from anyone or anything other than You. Help me to fully embrace and experience the unconditional love and acceptance that You offer through Your son, Jesus Christ. Strengthen me to stand firm in the truth of Your gospel and to resist the temptation to conform to the fleeting standards of this world.
I pray that You will protect me from the deception of false teachings and ideologies that seek to distort and corrupt Your word. Grant me discernment to recognize and reject anything that contradicts the pure message of Your salvation by grace alone. Help me to boldly proclaim and live out Your truth, so that others may also experience the freedom and fullness of life that comes from knowing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
