You have taught us in this verse to not resist an evil person, but to turn the other cheek. Please give me the strength and humility to follow Your teaching, even when it is challenging. Help me to respond to difficult situations with grace and forgiveness, rather than with anger and retaliation. Let me be a reflection of Your love and mercy in all that I do.
Tu nos enseñas a no resistir al malvado, sino que si alguien te abofetea en la mejilla derecha, también le presentes la otra. Ayúdame a entender el significado de esta enseñanza y a ponerla en práctica en mi vida diaria. Que pueda ser paciente y pacífico en medio de las dificultades, y que no responda al mal con más mal. Permíteme ser ejemplo de tu amor y gracia, mostrando compasión y perdón a aquellos que me ofendan o me hagan daño.
Te pido que me des la fuerza y la sabiduría para seguir tus enseñanzas y confiar en tu justicia. Que pueda ser una luz en el mundo, mostrando tu amor y misericordia a todos los que me rodean. Ayúdame a superar el deseo de venganza y a seguir el ejemplo de Jesús, quien nos enseñó a amar a nuestros enemigos. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
