June 17 – Morning

Read

Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

(Psalm 2:12)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the sovereign ruler of all the earth, and I am grateful to be under Your protection and care. Help me to serve You with fear and rejoice with trembling. I want to submit to Your authority and live according to Your will. Let me find refuge in You and Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that I may never perish but have eternal life.

I long to kiss Your Son, lest he be angry, and I perish in the way. Guide me to pledge my allegiance to him and seek his salvation. May my life reflect Your glory and honor, and may I find joy in serving You. Thank You for Your love and grace.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
