Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
You are love, and I pray that You would help me to embody the qualities of love described in this verse. Help me to be patient and kind, to not envy or boast, and to not be proud or rude. Help me to always protect, trust, hope, and persevere in my relationships with others. I pray that You would help me to love others in the same way that You love me, unconditionally and sacrificially.
I ask for Your guidance and strength so that I can put these virtues into practice in my daily life. I know that I can’t do it on my own, but with Your help, I can grow in love and become a better reflection of Your character. Thank You for Your love and grace towards me, and may I extend that same love and grace towards others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Tu palabra nos enseña que el amor es paciente y bondadoso, que no tiene envidia ni orgullo, que no se comporta con rudeza, ni busca su propio interés, que no se irrita ni lleva cuenta del mal y que no se alegra de la injusticia sino que se regocija con la verdad. Te pido que me ayudes a vivir conforme a este mandato, que mi amor hacia los demás refleje estas cualidades. Ayúdame a ser paciente y bondadoso, a no envidiar ni buscar mi propio interés, a no comportarme con rudeza ni alegrarme de la injusticia, sino a regocijarme con la verdad.
Te pido también que me des el poder para enfrentar las dificultades y los desafíos con fe, esperanza y perseverancia, que mi amor sea inquebrantable y que pueda creer, esperar y soportar todas las cosas. Que mi amor sea firme y constante, que nunca falle. Ayúdame a vivir en ese amor que todo lo cubre, lo cree, lo espera y lo soporta. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
El amor es sufrido, es benigno; el amor no tiene envidia, el amor no es jactancioso, no se envanece; no hace nada indebido, no busca lo suyo, no se irrita, no guarda rencor; no se goza de la injusticia, mas se goza de la verdad. Todo lo sufre, todo lo cree, todo lo espera, todo lo soporta.
