February 10 – Morning

Read

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

(Psalm 51:17)

Pray

Dear God,

You do not desire sacrifices or offerings, but a broken and contrite heart. I come before You with a humbled spirit, confessing my shortcomings and mistakes. I ask for Your forgiveness and guidance as I strive to live a life that is pleasing to You. Help me to have a heart that is truly repentant and willing to follow Your will.

I pray that You will cleanse me from my sins and restore to me the joy of Your salvation. May my words and actions reflect a heart that is pleasing to You, and may I always seek to honor and glorify Your name in all that I do. Thank You for Your grace and mercy, and for always being ready to receive me with love and compassion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
