You are always patient and merciful, and I am grateful for Your endless love and forgiveness towards me. I thank You for the reminder in this verse that a thousand years are like a day to You, and a day is like a thousand years. Help me to trust in Your perfect timing and to be patient as I wait for Your plans to unfold in my life. Give me the strength to surrender my desires and goals to Your will, knowing that Your timing is always perfect.
Please help me to remain steadfast in faith and to not be discouraged by the passing of time. Remind me that You are always working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail for my good. May I use the time I have been given to grow in my relationship with You and to serve others with love and compassion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
