December 22 – Morning

Read

Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth

(Psalm 80:1)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the shepherd of Israel, the one who leads us and guides us through every step of our journey. You are our refuge and strength, our source of hope and comfort in times of trouble. We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your presence and Your help in our lives. Just as the Psalmist cried out for restoration and revival in this verse, we too yearn for Your healing touch and Your renewing spirit. We ask that You would restore us to fullness of life, revive our weary hearts, and bring us back to a place of intimacy with You.

We confess that we have strayed and fallen short of Your glory, and we pray for Your forgiveness and mercy. As we look to You as our shepherd, we trust in Your steadfast love and faithfulness to lead us back to You. May Your light shine upon us and give us the strength to follow You wholeheartedly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
