August 18 – Evening

Dear God,

You already know all that is in my heart and all that I need before I even ask. Help me to come to You in prayer with sincerity and honesty, rather than using empty words or repeating the same requests without truly seeking Your will. Teach me to trust in Your wisdom and to seek Your guidance in all things, knowing that You are always listening and always ready to answer my prayers according to Your perfect plan.

Help me to approach prayer with reverence and humility, recognizing Your infinite power and Your steadfast love for me. May my prayers be a reflection of my deep desire to align my will with Yours and to grow closer to You in all aspects of my life. Thank You for the privilege of coming to You in prayer, and for the assurance that You hear and answer me according to Your perfect will.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,
Tu palabra nos enseña que no debemos usar vanas repeticiones al orar, sino que debemos hablar con sinceridad y humildad. Ayúdame a no caer en la tentación de repetir palabras vacías, sino a acercarme a ti con un corazón sincero y reverente. Permíteme encontrar las palabras adecuadas para expresar mis alegrías, preocupaciones y peticiones, sabiendo que tú estás siempre atento a cada una de ellas.

Te pido que me concedas discernimiento y sabiduría para saber qué pedir en oración, y que mi vida refleje una genuina búsqueda de tu voluntad. Que mis palabras sean una expresión de amor y devoción hacia ti, y que mi oración sea siempre agradable a tus oídos. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Y orando, no uséis vanas repeticiones, como los gentiles, que piensan que por su palabrería serán oídos.
