August 10 – Evening

Dear God,

You are the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. You hold the keys to death and Hades. You are powerful and mighty, and yet You are also compassionate and merciful. In the midst of my fears and anxieties, I am comforted by the knowledge that You are with me. You have conquered death and have given me the gift of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to remember that You are always near, and that I can rest in Your presence, free from fear and worry.

You know all of my struggles and cares, and You offer me Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help me to keep my focus on You, and not on the troubles of this world. Fill me with Your strength and courage, and let me live each day with the assurance that You are in control. Thank You for Your love and grace, and for the hope that I have in You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,

Tu presencia llena de amor y poder me llena de paz y confianza. Al saber que eres el primero y el último, el que vive por los siglos de los siglos, puedo descansar en tu promesa de cuidar de mí. Que en todo momento pueda recordar que no hay nada ni nadie que esté por encima de ti, y que en ti encuentro mi refugio y fortaleza.

Te pido que fortalezcas mi fe y mi confianza en ti, para que los temores y dudas no tengan lugar en mi corazón. Que tu paz sobrepase todo entendimiento y me sostenga en todo momento. Gracias por tu presencia constante y tu amor inagotable. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
