December 19 – Evening

Read

Now the LORD provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

(Jonah 1:17)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the God of second chances, the God who saves even when we have turned away from You. You rescued Jonah from the belly of the fish and gave him another opportunity to fulfill Your will. Please give me the strength and courage to turn back to You when I have strayed, just as Jonah did. Help me to trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that You never give up on me, and that You are always ready to embrace me with open arms.

Lord, may I learn from Jonah’s experience and recognize that no matter how far I have wandered from Your path, You are always there to forgive and guide me. I pray for a renewed faith and commitment to following Your will, and for the wisdom to discern Your voice in my life. Strengthen me to be obedient and faithful, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Thank You for Your unending love and the hope You offer, even when I feel lost and hopeless. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
