August 6 – Morning

Read

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

(Psalm 30:5)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the light that shines in the darkness, the hope that never fades. Even in the midst of my struggles and pain, I know that Your joy comes in the morning. Thank You for Your steadfast love and never-ending grace that sustains me through the toughest of times. Help me to hold onto this promise, knowing that Your joy will come and that You will turn my mourning into dancing.

You have lifted me up from the depths of despair and have given me a reason to praise You. I trust in Your timing and Your plans for my life, knowing that You are always working for my good. May I continue to lean on You and find peace in the promise that Your joy will come in the morning. Please give me the strength to endure, the faith to believe, and the patience to wait for Your perfect timing.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
