I called on your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit; you heard my plea, ‘Do not close your ear to my cry for help!’
(Lamentations 3:55-57)
Pray
You have heard my cry for help and my pleas for mercy. I have felt the weight of the burden that weighs heavy on my heart and I know that only You can lift it from me. You have been my refuge and my strength in times of trouble, and I turn to You now with all my hopes and fears, knowing that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Help me to trust in Your unfailing love and sovereign power, knowing that Your plans for me are good and perfect in Your sight.
You know the struggles that I face and the pain that I carry. I come to You, seeking peace and comfort in the midst of my trials. Strengthen my faith, Lord, and help me not to lose heart. Guide me with Your wisdom and grant me the assurance of Your presence, that I may find hope and renewal in You. Thank You, God, for Your faithfulness and Your constant love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
